The Lifeonaire Message

“What does “Lifeonaire” mean anyway?”

Everyone knows what a millionaire is: someone who possesses at least one million dollars. Or said another way, someone who is full of money.

A Lifeonaire is someone who is full of LIFE.

Hello, my name is Steve Cook.  Lifeonaire is a word that was given to me one day during my quiet time in August of 2003. While  looking at a beautiful lake in upstate New York and contemplating the misguided desire of some of my students to become millionaires, I was struck by a realization.  Most people’s desire for lots of money is actually a misplaced desire to have a better life than they do presently. And the Lifeonaire concept was born.

We all desire to live a prosperous life, but we live in a world that has distorted what it means to be prosperous.  I believe that we all have a burning passion to experience life to its fullest, and unfortunately we trade our lives away in pursuit of money and things in hope that one day money and things will give life back to us.

Each and every day, I’m working on figuring out exactly what it means to be a Lifeonaire.  I have discovered that in our pursuit for life, we tend to complicate thing by bringing obstacles into our lives.  We create lifestyles that demand our time and resources, lifestyles that require servicing to the point that they don’t allow us to live.

Since that day when Lifeonaire was given to me, my passion has been learning what it means to be a true Lifeonaire myself, and sharing the concept with as many others as possible along the way.  Today many regard me as “The Coaches’ Coach.”  Many of the people whom I’ve coached have become coaches themselves, eager to share what they have learned with others.

For those of you who have been following Lifeonaire for years, you know that it has been a slow process in getting to where we are today.  I am to blame for the slowness.  I’ve been holding back.  I’ve been robbing the world of what the Lord has put on my heart.  My motives I feel were pure, but they were wrong.

I haven’t felt ready, I’ve wanted everything to be perfect, and I’m still figuring Lifeonaire out myself.  So as I’ve been learning, as God has been growing me, stretching me and teaching me, I’ve been hoarding it and for that I do apologize.

I’m still not 100% sure of what I’m supposed to do with Lifeonaire, but I’m as clear as I have ever been and that is good enough.  At this point, I figure that the more I share what the Lord has put on my heart, the clearer things are going to become.

At this time, I can say that the Lifeonaire website is a place where we are dedicated to helping Christians live the abundant, prosperous and blessed life that God intends them to live.  The foundation of our Christian faith is being attacked, and the principles that allow us to enjoy a full life are being stripped away day by day.  I’m here to fight for your blessed life.  I’m going to do my best to equip you with the tools to live in this world that wants to tear you down.  I’m going to shine a light on the lies of this world and its attacks and use Lifeonaire to point people back to truth.

It is my plan to share with you the stories of real life Lifeonaires, give you insights into God’s truth from his word, point out distorted teachings that many of us encounter, stand up for our rights in the political arena, and to simply answer your questions to the best of my abilities.  I do not want to ever mislead anyone or teach something wrong and I encourage healthy debate.  Expect to see posts much more frequently than you have in the past.

So if it is your desire to experience an abundant and blessed life, please join me.  Tell others about the site and let’s stand up for our Christian values.  Please don’t be scared to speak up and make suggestions or ask questions.  The thoughts going through your mind are what will help me to go in the direction that will help YOU, the visitor of this site.

Please post your thoughts, comments, ideas or questions.  I’m ready to serve as best as I can.
