Chuck BaumanIn my recent article What Is Lifeonaire I shared a really excellent summary of what it means to be a Lifeonaire from one of my coaching students, and how he goes about making sure he achieves his Vision.

Today, I want to speak about a challenging concept I’ve been sharing in recent years I call “Accelerating the Splat”.

You’ve probably heard the joke before,

“It’s not the fall that kills you, it’s the sudden stop at the bottom.”

And yes, that’s true. But through my own hard struggles in the past, I’ve come to realize that, what’s laughably true in a physical sense, is the opposite of truth in a financial sense, more often than not.

What I mean is this:

Wen you’re in a financial fall, it’s not the ‘splat’ that kills you.
It’s the terrible fall before you hit bottom.

Let me explain—here’s a little video where I make my case through story in under 3 minutes. I hope you’ll take a few moments out of your busy day and really consider this. It’s a really powerful lesson that many people badly need to learn, and sooner than later if possible.

Thank you, and I look forward to reading your comments on what you think about this.
