About Me:

From Nashville, TN. I’m currently in IT Sales, but moving into Real Estate and stock market investing. Joined Lifeonaire in May 2025, so brand new. Currently working toward my vision and building new relationships along the way. I guess you’d say I’m right around the beginning of stage 3. Not retired, and don’t have enough assets/income to leave the day job yet, but cleared all debt and starting to acquire assets that will create income in the future.

Top Vision/Goal Items (Currently):

1. Getting my real estate journey moving by submitting more offers. Play the numbers game. 2. Saving for the "training vessel" - the boat where I will build skills to complete The Great Loop. 3. Relationship vision with my partner in crime, Danielle.

Lifeonaire Vision:

I have achieved my goal, getting to a place in life where I have the time, money, and flexibility to spend days on my liveaboard boat, with the ability to travel and spend time on the water. I have the freedom to spend up to 10 months a year on the boat, exploring the eastern part of the US, the Caribbean, even the Pacific or the Mediterranean. This also allows me to spend time with family and friends, creating experiences that we will always remember, and sharing connection while visiting places we might not otherwise see. Along the way, I have built new relationships with others in the boating community. Much like Lifeonaire, they tend to be likeminded individuals who help and support one another on our travels.
I still have a homebase – a home in the southeast, somewhere preferably near the water (could be river-based, does not have to be the ocean) where I can return when the boat is in maintenance, or if the need arises due to family, events, or something else. As I do not spend as much time there, the home is not large, does not have acreage to maintain, but is nice enough – 2/3 bedrooms, a couple of bathrooms, a modern kitchen. It could even be a condo. The home itself isn’t as important as its simplicity – easy to maintain, inexpensive relative to other homes. It is not a McMansion, nor does it have acres and acres.
I maintain my health by getting at least 30 minutes to an hour of exercise 3-5 times a week, and by eating whole foods as often as possible. The boat is work, and that helps to keep me active, but it is important to maintain health because on the water, a doctor will not be available.
I continue to make an income in a couple of ways:
• First, by owning several single family and/or multi-family rental properties, and I’m able to maintain those via property managers and a team of contractors/handymen. The work there requires 10 hours or less per week, but occasionally requires more if I have to do a rehab or put attention into fixing something.
• Second, I have income from the stock market. I have had several dividend funds, crypto currency and stocks through trading for several years. This work also requires 10 hours or less per week but might occasionally require more if I’m actively trading something or making adjustments to the portfolio. I keep an eye on the markets to understand when to make changes.
I have learned grace and gratitude through the process of building this life. I’m blessed to have this opportunity, and I’ve grown closer to God through this process – trusting in him to guide me, speak to me, and sharing my good fortune by giving back to others. As I have more time and flexibility, I’m able to travel to Costa Rica and visit my friends at YouthReach, to share spiritual, charitable, and hobby time, as well as building connections with others. I am involved in reef preservation efforts. A few years ago, I traveled to Curacao and saw a program that stuck with me – rehabilitating natural reefs by planting new coral and installing artificial (but sustainable) objects for sea life to move in.
When it comes to hobbies, I have the time and money to pursue passions beyond the boat – I still practice jiu jitsu (though maybe not as often while traveling), but I’m able to incorporate scuba diving into my travels.
As I get older, I stay closer to shore, but I’m able to continue spending time on the water and sharing it with people I care about.
